It’s the start of Day 2 at C2C Live here in Manchester ☕
And I’ve been going through my notes from yesterday — some great stuff came out of Day 1.
One Q&A session really stuck with me:
What do you do when you're stuck in your business?
That one hit hard.
Because let’s be honest — we’ve all been there. And will be again. And again.
As self-employed trainers, coaches, creators (insert your job title of choice), we’re often flying solo.
No team. No sounding board.
Just us, spinning in our own heads.
And as someone wisely said yesterday:
“You need to get out of your own head.”
Yes. That. 👇
One of the best ways to unstick yourself is having a solid support network.
That’s actually why I’m here at C2C Live.
Chris and his team? 100% part of my people.
I came to talk things through, offload a bit, and get some outside perspective.
Victoria Lewis (legend) made a great point yesterday too:
It’s not just about having a support network.
It’s about having the right people in it.
You don’t need a bunch of nodding dogs 🐶
You want people who listen — but also challenge you.
Who ask the uncomfortable questions.
Who poke at your logic until it clicks.
That’s how you move forward.
Someone else in the room offered a tip that I’m stealing immediately:
“Just try something. Anything. Even 20 minutes.”
Enter: the Pomodoro Technique.
Set a 20-minute timer.
Pick one thing.
See what you can get done.
It’s wild how much progress you can make when you just commit to starting.
This morning, in my own Digital Skills Tribe community, I spotted a few messages echoing the same stuck-ness.
Specifically around building online communities and courses.
Things like:
Not knowing where to start
Feeling overwhelmed by the tech
Wondering how to market or even structure the thing
Sound familiar?
This is easily one of the top questions I get asked:
How do I plan, build, and launch an online community or course without drowning in confusion?
Good news: that’s exactly the kind of stuff I help with.
And conversations like the ones we had yesterday? They’re why I do what I do.
Here’s your two-part recipe for getting unstuck:
Lean on the right people who’ll challenge your thinking
Start small — even 20 minutes of focused action can change everything
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to get moving and stay connected.
You’ve got this 💥
