A quick update. And a genuine thank you.

I'm Ady Howes, a Royal Navy veteran and the bloke behind Help With Digital. A number of Armed Forces and veteran organisations have supported me recently, and I wanted to say thank you properly.

The last few weeks have been turbulent personally. I've had some difficult circumstances to deal with and, at times, keeping on top of messages and conversations has been harder than usual.

Thank you

Your support has meant a lot.

I've been very well supported through a difficult period, and I am incredibly grateful to the organisations and people who have checked in, offered practical help and simply been there.

I'm conscious that it is my job to keep people updated. I haven't always managed that as well as I would have liked recently, so if you're waiting to hear from me, I haven't forgotten you.

There are still a couple of important weeks to get through. As those events pass, I'll be returning messages, picking conversations back up and getting properly back into the swing of things.

More than anything, though, I wanted this page to be a thank you rather than an apology. The veteran community has looked after me, and I want to make sure I keep finding useful ways to give something back.

There’s a bit more below about how I’d like to give something back.

Giving something back

I'd like to do more within the veteran community.

Help With Digital is my business, but the skills behind it can also help veteran-owned businesses and organisations build stronger relationships, communicate better and make technology work harder for the people they serve.

Veteran business owners

If you know a veteran running a business, I'd welcome an introduction.

I help growing service-based businesses make better use of tech, particularly around landing pages, online communities and digital experiences that help attract, support and retain customers.

If someone in the military community could benefit from that kind of help, send them my way. I'll always look after our community.

Veteran organisations

Technology can help organisations build even stronger communities.

I'm particularly interested in helping Armed Forces and veteran organisations create better ways for people to connect, access support, learn, attend events and stay involved over time.

That could mean improving an existing digital journey or building a dedicated online community that strengthens relationships and helps services reach the people who need them.

A new community platform

Take a look at MusterCamp.

I've also launched MusterCamp, a community platform backed by a unique agency relationship. It gives organisations and business owners a dedicated home for conversations, learning, events, support and member engagement without trying to hold everything together across half a dozen different tools.

About Ady

Royal Navy veteran. Digital specialist. Professional problem solver.

I'm a Royal Navy veteran, Learning & Development professional and digital specialist with more than 20 years' experience helping people learn, connect and use technology with confidence.

These days I run Help With Digital, helping growing businesses make better use of technology without turning the tech itself into another full-time job.

A lot of my work now sits around landing pages, online communities and digital experiences. The common thread is simple: use technology to build better relationships and make it easier for people to take the next step.

Thank you again

I'll be back in touch properly soon.

In the meantime, thank you for the support, patience and kindness. And if there's a veteran business owner or organisation you think I should know, an introduction would be very welcome.
