Know what you would like to be different.
Think about the outcome rather than the technology. What are you trying to achieve? What would make things easier, better or more useful in the business?
Your call is in the diary. You should have the details by email, so there is nothing complicated to do now. A little bit of thought beforehand will help us get much more out of the time together.
If a business partner, colleague, decision maker or anyone else needs to have a say in what we are discussing, it is much easier if they are on the call too. Feel free to forward them the meeting details and bring them with you.
You do not need to prepare a presentation or write a massive brief. These few things are more than enough.
Think about the outcome rather than the technology. What are you trying to achieve? What would make things easier, better or more useful in the business?
If something is confusing, clunky, taking too long or simply doing your head in, tell me. You do not need to have figured out the solution before the call. That is part of the point.
If there is a website, landing page, community, course, system or bit of tech that is relevant, keep the link nearby. If there is something you like, or something you definitely do not like, that is useful too.
Timing, budget, other people involved and what you have already tried all help me give you a useful answer. There is no point designing the perfect solution if it does not fit the reality of your business.
If you entered your mobile number when you booked, you may already have received a WhatsApp message from me. It is genuinely me. You can even reply and say hi if you fancy it.
