But like a lot of people running solo businesses, she’d been putting off collecting proper client testimonials for… well, years.</p><p>Not because she didn’t believe in them. But because the whole thing felt like a hassle. Helpful, friendly, mildly relentless emails that made the case for just getting this stuff done. Eventually, one of those emails landed on the right day. She replied, we kicked things off, and it all started from there.</p><p>We started with a landing page. Sent it to her clients. Gathered <em>written</em> feedback first.</p><p>That gave her a dopamine hit that according to Katie, and I agree, is ‘way better than likes on social media’.</p><hr><h2 id="4ae91ed2-7a29-4622-83da-44cfc28ff5b1" data-toc-id="4ae91ed2-7a29-4622-83da-44cfc28ff5b1" style="font-size: 24px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 1.2;"><strong>It is MUCH MORE than a thing to publish…</strong></h2><p>The things Katie’s clients were saying gave her:</p><p>💬 Insight into what people <em>actually</em> valued<br>📈 Data to back up what works<br>📣 Instant content to post and share<br>🧠 Clarity for shaping her next offer</p><p>She was mid-build on a new 6-week sprint offer, pulling together the best of what she’s done over the last couple of years.</p><p>And because of that feedback, she could <em>see</em> which bits were the most powerful from her clients’ point of view not just her own.</p><p></p><hr><h2 id="b9657ec8-7241-4373-9155-ad26adf3e770" data-toc-id="b9657ec8-7241-4373-9155-ad26adf3e770" style="font-size: 24px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 1.2;"><strong>Stories that matter…..</strong></h2><p>Without telling her, I lined up a video interview with one of her clients (hi Rachael 👋) and got it edited in advance. So in the middle of our catch-up call, I hit play.</p><p>Hearing someone talk about how any of my clients have helped them build confidence and get results is very satisfying for me. I want to see them do well and have great stories of success.</p><p>And this does my clients the world of good too. When you’re in your business every day, it’s easy to forget how big the impact you have is. Sometimes you need someone to say it back to you.</p><hr><h2 id="75bccd4d-bae6-4544-91a3-945f4ef888f6" data-toc-id="75bccd4d-bae6-4544-91a3-945f4ef888f6" style="font-size: 24px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 1.2;"><strong>If You’re Putting This Off…</strong></h2><p>I totally get it.</p><p>But if you’ve got happy clients and you’re not letting them speak for you, you’re almost definitely leaving money, momentum, and marketing magic on the table.</p><p>If you’re in that “I know I should, but I haven’t” zone with testimonials whether it’s video or written give me a shout.
